Insert 2 AA batteries and place as directed by symbols within battery compartment, then replace battery cover. Place freshly-painted fingers or toes beneath fan and rest them on the bottom panel to activate fan. To turn off, remove your hand/foot from the rest stand.

    When I first got it, I thought it was quite flimsy, but after I figured out how to insert the batteries and then turned it on, I changed my mind, and now it seems it does an adequate job. I have to dry my thumb separately, but I don’t mind, the price was good on this thing.
