How is this stuff not at the top of nail aficionados "Must Have" lists?? I had never tried a product like this before as I (mistakenly) thought a light lick or dab of remover would do the trick. I was so wrong!! You can use this on wet or fully dry polish. I've used multiple times on dinged up wet/damp polish (make sure you brush over the entire nail and not just the smudge as it smoothes and evens everything out), but recently found myself with the dreaded sheet imprints on every nail.
The photos show the pinky nail smoothed out with the other 4 a mess. Next photo is 2nd finger fully and 1st finger halfway, so you can see the transition. Last photo is fully smudge free and good as new!! I will never be without this in my nail kit!
*Note: I did not have a top coat on yet and applied after I used the Smudge Fix. I assume it would work just as well on top-coated nails but you may need to apply an additional top coat to re-seal everything.
Wow! This smooths out all imperfections, such as uneven streaks, smudges, etc. Leaves my nail polish looking like smooth glass. Apply right away before polish dries, to smooth entire nail polish out to perfection. A must have!!
I bit my nails all my life, had dental work so Im 60 years now & I finally have great nails. My nails grew out very yellow and that's how i found illuminating polish. My nails have no more yellow stains!! L@@k, this is how much I love Londontown!!
Although I don’t use this product for every manicure, the instant smudge fix is now a staple in my collection. I will always keep some handy, going forward! It finishes small smudges, and levels out large dents creating a smooth surface for another thin coat of lacquer.
I had doubts, but since every time I’ve tried something from LondonTown I’ve been somewhere from very impressed all the way to blown away, so I thought okay, I’ll try this. How bad could it be? Boy, this goes all the way to five “blown aways”. When I used to pay for manicures, I was always able to knacker the fresh polish on at least one finger before my technician could finish the last of them. She’d put a little polish remover on her finger and rub the now ruined polish, but I was never totally pleased with the result. So, of course this stuff blew me away. Within seconds of applying it, the scuff is settling down. If it was bad, I’ve even used it twice and then I’d be back to a perfect nail. I know this line is a little pricey, but it’s worth every nickel. I don’t know how they even do this!
Did not fix the smudge as it was advertised. Very disappointed
