I absolutely love this color and have used it in the lacquer formula since it first became available, so I decided to give the gel a try. I'm so glad I did. It looks and performs like a jelly formula, so the first coat is very patchy and see thru. That's pretty typical of any jelly, and in this case, the second coat builds up nicely and becomes fully opaque.
The deep brown is beautiful and the finish has that squishy, glassy jelly polish look that I really love. The copper sparkle appears to float under the surface and adds just the right amount of what look like glowing embers. It's way more glassy in appearance than the lacquer one, making it a real standout.
It is a more finicky formula than the lacquer, but being patient pays off, and it's truly worth the extra few minutes when it's done.
I love this color at any time of year and find it to be so flattering. I used it today as an end of August jump start into my fall transition and it does not disappoint. It's one of my top favorite colors of all time.
This gel nail polish being quite expensive and the product being described as long lasting started chipping 2 days later after having a professional salon I go to apply it. The color and wish it would have lasted two weeks as described.😳
