Reviews suggest Maraschino Cherry may lean more orange than true cherry, and for me, I was game for that! Cherry red, cherry orange red — okay by me. What I didn’t expect (and legitimately thought I was sent the wrong thing at first) was for this shade to be nearly identical to Down to Dilly which is described as “ Nearly neon, this hot pink crème calls for a party!” See photo for side by side. Don’t get me wrong, it’s pretty! But I wasn’t in the market for a sliiiiiiight variation of a shade I always have. I wanted red! If you, like me, already have Down to Dilly then perhaps skip this one.

Very nice polish but the color is more orange than a cherry red.
Very pretty shade of red. I feel like "cherry" somewhat misrepresents the true shade. I think it leans toward and red with slight orange in it. I have had lots of compliments. This color pairs nicely with just about all of my outfits.
