Affogato

Not sure why my previous review wasn’t posted but here we go again. I’m a huge fan of Londontown, have about 30 different bottles of polish, top/base coats, illuminators all on my vanity now. I’ve bought many of the nail illuminators on repeat.. but this one I’m not a fan. It peeled off the next day (yes I use their basecoat and topcoats). The color is OK also not as expected. It leans very silvery / cool on me, and I was expecting a warmer metallic coffee color hence the name. But it’s still pretty and wearable for fall. My main issue is with the formula. My brand new bottle was very thick and gloppy upon opening I find this brand of polish does tend to thicken after a few months, but it’s nothing that a few drops of their nail polish thinner won’t fix. Still I shouldn’t have to do that with a brand new bottle of polish . Once I used the thinner on this one, the application was better. But the wearability didn’t change. Mine was chipping and peeling within 24 hours. On the plus side it’s very opaque which you need for a metallic to look good. But I don’t think this one is anything special and I would not repurchase. Will also be relegated to only my toes because the wearability stinks..
