Cherry Cola Essentials

This color took more effort than I expected. These pics are three coats, in different lighting. The first two are my office lighting. The finish wasn’t as shiny as I expected so I added the high shine top coat in the other two pics, which made a huge difference! Lessons learned are to use very thin coats, because I glooped it up in a few places. Two coats looked sickly on my nails but three is a nice brownish plum (not cherry). I knew this polish was sheer— I’ve used other nail veils — but with such a dark color, I would prefer it to be more opaque. In certain lighting, I can see through my nail tips. I like it, but a crème would achieve this look easier.

I’ve been using Londontown Perfecting Nail Veil #10 – Cherry Cola, and it has quickly become one of my favorite polishes for an effortless, everyday manicure. The sheer, buildable cherry tint enhances the natural beauty of my nails while giving a smooth, glossy, and polished finish without the need for a base or top coat. Whether I apply one thin layer for a subtle glow or two layers for a deeper, more defined color, my nails always look naturally healthy and refined.

After incorrectly taking off press-on‘s, my nails needed some serious TLC and Perfecting Nail Veil #10 was the perfect choice for the fall. It has an ultra sheer cherry cola color that you can easily build up to 3 or 4 coats for a deeper color payoff without looking heavy or gloopy. It evenly glides on damaged nails, making them look glossy and smooth, no base or top coat needed. My favorite part is the multi-active complex that moisturizes and strengthens the nail plate. My nails feel stronger, more hydrated and protected, just after applying a few thin coats. Not to mention it’s certified vegan and cruelty free which makes me love it even more. I will definitely be trying out some other shades in this line!
