    I want to start by saying I love the Londontown kur nail illuminators and top coat so much! I bought another veil color and didn’t love it awhile back but with fall here the cherry cola looked intriguing. It is not. As with the other nail veil I purchase the color is very uneven .

This layering technique gives the most natural, even finish. Perfecting Nail Veils do not require a top coat, but some like to add one to amp up the shine.

    Consistently Streaked & Mottled

    I have tried applying this 5 different times and every time it comes out a mess. It's impossible to get that veiled look shown in the photos of the single application because it streaks easily, and every additional stroke dramatically changes the opacity. This is my first Londontown polish and I am not a fan of the brush, which I found to be too thin and flat. I gave it 2 stars because the color itself is very pretty. I'm going to try a different brush and maybe some polish thinner to see if I can salvage it, but I won't purchase again.

    Not my favorite

    I have every color and was super excited for cherry cola. Unfortunately it is too sheer and streaky, even with 3 coats. I can still see the ridges and the white tips of my nails. It really does look like cherry cola in a glass diluted with water.

    Completely different color from the advertisements

    I was extremely disappointed with the #10 cherry cola nail veil. I’ve been seeing ads for this product for weeks on social media and finally decided to try it. The ads feature a warm mauve tone with a variety of intensity based on layers of the polish and on a variety of skin tones.

    Unfortunately, as soon as I tried it, I discovered the polish was not only much darker and uneven than it looked in the ads, but it’s also much more purple/blue. The ads show a much warmer pinky color. I imagine this is lighting but it feels so dishonest to misrepresent the color. I tried one coat, two coats and three coats and none of them looked anything like the ads. It’s a totally different shade.

    I am a huge fan of other products by Londontown, but I felt like this one missed the mark.

    Save your money

    I applied my nail polish on yesterday at 6:30 pm with a top coat it was pretty but the next day at 12:50pm I showered and my nails are chipped. It didn’t even last me a day without chipping. 😔
