Luxurious nail polishes that deliver gel-like wear and shine with effortless application. Formulated to provide nails with the perfect balance of strength and moisturization, lakurs are a breakthrough combination of high-impact color and our proprietary kur® care—the result of a mindful approach that fuses the best of clean ingredients and effective, professional-level technology.

  • Features Londontown’s signature 21+ free formula—which never contains formaldehyde, toluene, phthalates (including DBP), formaldehyde resin, camphor, xylene, ethyl tosylamide, TPHP, bisphenol A, and more
  • Vegan, breathable, gluten-free, and cruelty-free

Start with any kur base coat. Once the first layer has dried, apply 1-2 coats of lakur as needed. Let the polish dry for 10-15 seconds and seal with any kur top coat. To expedite the drying process, apply 1-2 drops of Accelerating Drying Oil at the cuticle and allow the oil to run to the free edge of the nail. For best results, reapply top coat every 3-4 days to lock in color and help extend wear time.

    Same as Honey Lavender

In my photos Honey Lavender is on the left and Opal on the right. At glance you really can’t see a difference. Very disappointing if you want to expand your collection with a variety of different colors. If you look close Opal has some shimmer where Honey Lavender does not. Hope this helps.

Thank you so much for your review! Honey Lavender and Opal are similar, but do have some notable differences. Opal has a sheer gray/violet base with a red/blue shimmer. Honey Lavender is a creamy lavender base with a very fine, subtle red pearl that you can see if the light hits the bottle of lakur (or painted nail) in just the right way. If you are looking for shades in the same family that vary from Opal and Honey Lavender we suggest: Silver Birch, Beaumont, Trolley Away, Bell Flower, or Plush. We hope this is helpful.

It's pretty, but not my favorite

This color is pretty under certain lights but then under other lights it looks like a dull muted gray. It's very light and simple and it doesn't have any sort of glitter look even though it's listed as a glitter polish. I wanted to love it, but after two days I ended up polishing over it with Starstruck. I guess I am just too much of a true glitter fan to appreciate the subtlety of Opal. It's very neutral and understated so if that's what you're looking for then you will love it. I attached a photo. The color is similar to my hydrangeas so I stuck my hand in them to take the picture.
