Start with any kur base coat. Once the first layer has dried, apply 1-2 coats of lakur as needed. Let the polish dry for 10-15 seconds and seal with any kur top coat. To expedite the drying process, apply 1-2 drops of Accelerating Drying Oil at the cuticle and allow the oil to run to the free edge of the nail. For best results, reapply top coat every 3-4 days to lock in color and help extend wear time.

    Stand Alone or Topper?

    I’ve not tried this as a stand alone, instead topping it off . Shown here with 3 coats of Nail Veil # 9 , these work so well together. I topped it off of Violet Hibiscus, which wasn’t the best combo. The frostiness is bold and the amethyst is subtlety there. After wearing dark colors all winter, I forgot how forgiving metallics can be when you get the small chips on the tips.

    I was disappointed in how light the color actually is. Was expecting a darker purple and its almost more pink.
